G4HRS HORSHAM AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY (HARC)/ OZ2NYB EDR-NYBORG>
EXPEDITION TO FRIEDRICHSHAFEN JUNE 2008

HARC members have been enjoying a trip til Friedrichshafen in June for several years now. It's a 6 day holiday
with emphasis on relaxation and with a daily trip somewhere in the Lake Constance area, with one day put aside
for the DARC Hamradio Messe itself.
This year Bryn G3SWC had invited me along as we have known each other since our student days at Bristol Technical
College studying for the PMG Radio Officer's Certificate. The group approved and I gratefully accepted the invitation,
on behalf of my own club OZ2NYB, EDR Nyborg. I was made an honorary HARC member for the duration of the trip.

EKSPEDITION TIL FRIEDRICHSHAFEN JUNI 2008

I en årrække har medlemmer fra Horsham Amateur Radio Society (HARC) taget til Friedrichshafen i forbindelse
med DARC HAMRADIO Messe. Turens hovedformål er ferie og social sammenhold med en dag sat af til messebesøg.
Turen i år var på 6 dage, med start onsdag, messebesøg lørdag og hjemmerejse tirsdag.

Da Bryn G3SWC, et af HARC's medlemmer, kender mig, i det vi gik på telegrafistskole sammen i Bristol
tilbage i tresserne, blev jeg inviteret med i år. Jeg sagde ja tak på OZ2NYB's vegne og blev optaget i HARC
som gæst under turen.
Med base på et hotel i Friedrichshafen tog vi ud på ture hver dag på Bodensee og omegn, dvs i Tyskland,
Østrig og Schweiz. Billederne fra disse ture og fra messen kan ses til venstre.
